New Features on Infinite Musician

A few new features are now live inside Infinite Musician — all designed to make it easier to practice consistently, stay organized, and pick up exactly where you left off.

1) Optional Mobile/Tablet App (iOS + Android)

Infinite Musician works great in a mobile browser, but if you prefer a dedicated app experience, you can also access the school through the Teachable app.

How to use it:

  1. Download the Teachable app from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Log in using the same email you use for Infinite Musician
  3. Your courses should appear automatically once you’re logged in

Note: The Teachable app doesn’t allow screenshots (so I can’t show it here), but the setup is straightforward — download → log in → start learning!

2) Notes Inside the Video Player

You can now leave yourself notes inside each lesson, right in the video player.

This is perfect for things like:

📝 “What was I working on in this lesson?”
📝 key points the instructor mentioned
📝 reminders for next time
📝 progress markers (keys, tempos, etc.)

Watch the quick screencast below to see exactly where the notes live and how to use them.

Pro tip: If you’ve ever re-watched the first 2 minutes of a lesson just to remember what you were doing… lesson notes fix that.

3) Lightning-Fast Workflow: “Take This Into the Shed”

Starting with the Lightning-Fast & Crystal-Clean sax technique course, you’ll see a new practice-friendly layout that makes everything flow together.

Right below the video player, you’ll now find a section called “Take This Into the Shed” with an embedded PDF workbook.

Here’s the workflow:

  1. Watch the instructor teach the exercise in the video
  2. Scroll down to “Take This Into the Shed” to view the matching workbook pages (you’ll see the page numbers right there)
  3. Use the lesson notes (shown in the screencast above) to write down anything you want to remember — especially:

- the workbook page number you’re on
- which keys you practiced the exercise in
- your tempo (and your goal tempo)
- any technique reminders (tonguing, finger coordination, articulation, etc.)
- what you want to do next time

This turns each lesson into a simple practice system: video + workbook + your notes, all in one place.

Example note you could leave:

  • “Workbook p. 12, Keys: Bb/F/Eb. Tempo: 92 → goal 112. Next time: practice tonguing all notes.”

Even 10 minutes a day with this workflow can build serious momentum — because you’re not constantly resetting and guessing what you did last time.
